Wi-Fi, also spelledWifiorWiFi, is alocal area wireless technologythat allows an electronic device to exchange data or connect to the internet using 2.4 GHzUHFand 5 GHzSHFISM radio bands.

Yes, you really can make free phone calls using the Internet! Free internet phone programs let you make free phone calls, sometimes only to the US and Canada, using special software.

The free phone call applications I list below are available in four different forms:
  • PC to phone programs are ones that can make a free call from your computer to a real telephone number so you don't even need a telephone yourself.
  • App to phone software are ones that make free Internet calls from a mobile device to a real number. These services support making phone calls to any number, even landlines and mobile phones that aren't using the app.
  • PC to PC Internet calling is when a computer makes a free phone call to another computer.
  • App to app services run entirely on mobile devices and results in phone calls that can only work if the recipient has the same application installed. This method can not be used to call landlines or other mobile phones that don't have the proper software.
No matter how it works, it's a free call!
To make a free call using an Internet phone, you might have to download free phone call software or use a soft phone from an Internet phone provider website.
Important: A free Internet phone can not be used to make a 911 or similar emergency call. If you need to call 911, use a traditional land-line or mobile phone, or a VoIP telephone service that's approved for 911 use like Vonage.

Google Voice is the very best way to make free Internet phone calls. With Google Voice, you can make free calls to an actual phone number, PC to PC calls, and free PC to phone calls.
Google Voice is much more than a way to make free phone calls on the Internet. Google Voice is primarily a way to manage the phone numbers in your life and can be used to intelligently route incoming calls to your free phone number provided by Google Voice to any other phone you have. With Google Voice, you can also get free SMS, make a free conference call, and get free voice mail services.
Free calls you make with Google Voice must be to numbers in the United States or Canada.

Not only can you call other magicJack users for free anywhere in the world, but you can also call any regular telephone number in the US and Canada, even if they don't use the magicJack app (like landlines).

3. BlackBerry Messenger (BBM)

BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) is a mobile application used primarily for sending and receiving text messages. It can also be used to make free Internet phone calls to other BBM users.
BBM is available for Android devices and the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. BlackBerry users have BBM installed by default.
After installing the application, users are given a unique PIN that's used as a username. Contacts add each other to their BBM address list using this PIN.
Internet phone calls made with BBM are not restricted in length or by any other means, however they can not be made to landlines or non-BBM users.

Viber works with many different devices. The mobile application can be installed for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, Bada, and Nokia users.

New Tango contacts can be added by searching through your existing address book. Anyone who has Tango installed will show up as a friend. You can also find Tango users that are currently positioned around you by their location.

Skype can be installed on: Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Kindle Fire HD, PlayStation Vita, and Windows Phone. Desktop versions are also available for Linux, Mac, and Windows.
Because Skype works on both desktops and mobile devices, any variation of communication is allowed - PC to PC, app to PC, app to app, and PC to app.
To create contacts with Skype requires recipients to already have a Skype account. You can find a user in the public Skype directory by their email address or phone number. You can also add contacts directly if you know their username.

If you're a Yahoo! user, you can use the mobile or desktop application to make free Internet phone calls with other users.

Vonage Mobile uses your existing mobile phone number to connect with other users to make free Internet phone calls, text messages, and video calls.
The Vonage Mobile app uses the address book you've already built on your phone so you can easily call anyone that's an existing contact, given they're a Vonage user.
Your contacts that are already using Vonage Mobile will appear in a dedicated section of the app so it's easy to know who you can call for free.

How to Unroot Android

When you root your phone, customizing your phone becomes considerably easier. However, it can be irritating when you can't get updates on your phone because it is rooted. Getting your phone repaired, or returning it to the store is often going to be a problem as well if you’ve already rooted the phone. You may be thinking, “If only there was some way to get rid of the root easily without a lot of trouble.” Fortunately, there’s a handy program called OTA Rootkeeper that allows you to remove root for purposes such as getting software updates.



Click the “Play Store” icon on your phone’s Home screen. You can get to the home screen by pressing the Home button if your particular phone has that. Otherwise, you can also get there by clicking the “Apps” button and then scrolling over to it. The apps are listed alphabetically.
Click the spyglass icon in the top right. Type in “ota rootkeeper” to search for the free app. You should see it in the search results. Click on it to open the installation screen.


Click the “Install” button in the top right to install the application on your phone. Make sure you have space on your phone so that you get a clean install.

Open the application by clicking “Open” in the installation screen. You can also access the app from the “Apps” button on your phone

Hit the button marked- “Temp. un-root (keeps backup).” Your phone is now temporarily unrooted. If you’d like to make it more permanent, click the “delete su backup” button. You can then click “Restore Root” whenever you want to bring the root back.

Hello, the VRoot Program is from the bbs.mgyun.com forum. This is based on ROMASTER root program used to root MTK Devices. This program can root Qualcomm, TI OMAP Phones and other different chipsets. This will root many Android 2.3.7 phones where they are no exploits working such as the Motorola Defy XT CDMA version.

Installing the .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 8 or 8.1

 if you install an app that requires a specific version of the .NET Framework, the app's setup program might install the .NET Framework on your computer or prompt you to install it. For example, the .NET Framework 3.5 is not automatically installed with Windows 8 or Windows 8.1. To run apps that require the .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 8 or later, you must enable version 3.5 on your computer. There are two ways you can do this: by installing or running an app that requires the .NET Framework 3.5 (that is, by installing the .NET Framework 3.5 on demand), or by enabling the .NET Framework 3.5 in Control Panel. Both options require an Internet connection.
In general, you should not uninstall any versions of the .NET Framework from your computer, because an app you use may depend on a specific version and may break if that version is removed. Multiple versions of the .NET Framework can be loaded on a single computer at the same time. This means that you do not have to uninstall previous versions in order to install a later version.
Important notes:
  • Use the .NET Framework 3.5 for apps built for versions 2.0 and 3.0 as well as 3.5.
  • Installing a Windows language pack before installing the .NET Framework 3.5 will cause the .NET Framework 3.5 installation to fail. Install the .NET Framework 3.5 before installing any Windows language packs.
  • Windows CardSpace is not available with the .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 8.
    If an app requires the .NET Framework 3.5, but doesn't find that version enabled on your computer, it displays the following message box, either during installation, or when you run the app for the first time. In the message box, choose Install this feature to enable the .NET Framework 3.5. This option requires an Internet connection.

    You can also enable the .NET Framework 3.5 yourself through Control Panel. In Control Panel, choose Programs and Features, choose Turn Windows features on or off, and then select the .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) check box. This option requires an Internet connection. You do not need to select the child items for Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) HTTP activation unless you are a developer who requires WCF script and handler mapping functionality.

    If installing the .NET Framework 3.5 on demand or enabling it in Control Panel fails, you may get one of the following error messages:
    • 0x800f0906: “Windows couldn't connect to the Internet to download necessary files. Make sure that you're connected to the Internet, and click Retry to try again.”
    • 0x800F081F: “The changes could not be completed. Please reboot your computer and try again.”
    These messages may be displayed for the following reasons:
    • Your computer is not connected to the Internet. Please connect, and then retry the operation.
      If you cannot connect to the Internet, you can enable the .NET Framework 3.5 by using the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) command-line tool and specifying the installation media (ISO image or DVD) you installed Windows 8 from.
      1. In Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012, open a Command Prompt window with administrative credentials (that is, choose Run as administrator).
      2. To install the .NET Framework 3.5 from installation media located in the D:\sources\sxs directory, use the following command:
        DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:d:\sources\sxs
        where:
        • /Online targets the operating system you're running (instead of an offline Windows image).
        • /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 specifies that you want to enable the .NET Framework 3.5.
        • /All enables all parent features of the .NET Framework 3.5.
        • /LimitAccess prevents DISM from contacting Windows Update.
        • /Source specifies the location of the files needed to restore the feature (in this example, the D:\sources\sxs directory).
        For more information about DISM parameters and options, see How to Enable or Disable Windows Features
    • You are using a local source, but the network location is inaccessible or doesn’t have the right content. Install the .NET Framework 3.5 from installation media as described in the previous bullet point.
    • Your administrator has configured your computer to use Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) instead of Windows Update for servicing. Ask your administrator to enable the policy to use Windows Update instead of WSUS.

    The .NET Framework 1.1 is not supported on the Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012, or the Windows Server 2012 R2 operating systems. In some cases, the .NET Framework 1.1 is specifically identified as required for an application to run. In those cases, you should contact your independent software vendor (ISV) to have the application upgraded to run on the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 or later version. For additional information, see Migrating from the .NET Framework 1.1.

    It is not possible to manually install the .NET Framework 1.1 on Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012, or Windows Server 2012 R2. It is no longer supported. If you try to install the package, the following error message is displayed: "Setup cannot continue because this version of the .NET Framework is incompatible with a previously installed one." To solve this problem, install the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. This version includes the .NET Framework 2.0 (the release that follows the .NET Framework 1.1), which is supported on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
